We can't read your stuff: Nothing reaches a server. The app has no backend, no analytics and no network calls for your content. The host only serves the app itself. Your text never leaves the device.
It lives in this browser: Your text, place and settings sit in this browser’s local storage. Nothing syncs. Another browser or device starts blank.
Anyone at this keyboard can see it: Local storage isn’t encrypted or locked. On a shared device, turn off Remember text or forget this device when done.
It can vanish: Clearing site data, private windows and browser clean-ups wipe it. Safari clears it after seven days away. Keep your own copy of anything that matters.
Extensions can see the page: Browser extensions with page access can read what’s on screen, as on any site. Use a clean profile for sensitive text.
Locked down by default: The app refuses outside scripts and connections, can’t be framed by other sites, and never asks for camera, mic or location.
